Government Polytechnic Jammu organises painting competition

JAMMU: To celebrate India's G20 presidency, Government Polytechnic Jammu organised a painting competition with the theme "Green Development, Climate and Lifestyle for Environment".

20 students participated and the event was coordinated by faculty members. Principal Er Arun Bangotra praised the teams and emphasised India's G20 theme "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", focusing on sustainable lifestyles and honest conversations about climate change.

Yamana Kotwal won first place while Kavita and Vaneeta Sekhri shared second place and Suhani and Harpreet Kaur shared third place.

Others present at the event included Workshop Superintendent, Er IJ Singh; HoD Automobile Engineering, Er Rajesh Gupta besides faculty members and students.
