Internal Quality Assurance Cell of PSPS GCW Gandhinagar organises interaction meeting regarding NAAC

JAMMU: A meeting with External members of Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women, Gandhinagar Jammu was organised by the IQAC of the College today on 8th March, 2023 in the Edusat.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the plan of action regarding improvement of key parameters as required for forthcoming NAAC Inspection.

The programme started with the formal welcome of guests by Prof Minu Mahajan, the Principal of the College. The guests present in the meeting were Prof (Dr) Yasmeen Ashai, Director Higher Education Department; Prof Zahoor Ahmed Chatt, Ex Director Colleges; Prof (Dr) Satinder Singh; Rajesh Gupta, Secretary, Chamber of Commerce and Industries; Guneet Singh and Ravinder from Kitaab and Kalam Foundation, a NGO working for underprivileged Children.

During the meeting, MoU was signed with Chamber of Commerce and Industries for internship and placement of students. The second MOU was signed with Kitaab and Kalam Foundation to engage the students in Social outreach activities. Both the MOUs were signed in the presence of Coordinator IQAC and the Heads of all the 7 Criteria's of IQAC of the College.

The eminent members in the meeting suggested various majors to strengthen the College IQAC, Road Map for further development of the college including submission DPR's for various projects, upgradation of various ICT facilities, strengthening of existing research facilities etc.

The meeting ended with the formal vote of thanks by Prof Sugandha Mahajan.
