District level Training program on ‘Promotion of Vegetables & Exotic vegetables' held at Reasi

REASI: Training on Promotion of Vegetables and exotic vegetables under Hill Area Development Programme (HADP) was held today in the conference Hall of DC office, Reasi under the chairmanship of CAO Reasi, Harbans Singh.

Speaking on the Promotion of Vegetable/ Exotic Vegetables under Open and Hi- tech protected cultivation' in a District level training programme, Chief Agriculture officer, Reasi, Harbans Singh said that there is great potential of cultivation of exotic vegetables in the district.

DAO Extension, Reasi, Rajesh Verma informed that under the holistic document a special programme has been designed for this purpose so that maximum opportunities under this sector could be explored.

Head KVK, Reasi, Banarsi lal conducted the technical session through PPT covering topics like objectives of the programme, scope of Vegetable production under controlled conditions, implementation plan etc.

The training programme was attended by District Agriculture officers, Experts from KVK, SDAOs, AEOs, and other field functionaries of Reasi District.
