GDC Ramnagar lifts inter-collegiate Volleyball title

JAMMU: Govt. Degree College, Ramnagar lifted inter-collegiate Volleyball title by outplaying GCW Parade by 3-0 sets (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) in the final of the ongoing inter-collegiate Volleyball (Women) tournament 2022-23, organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.

Earlier, in the semi-final matches, GDC, Ramnagar beat GDC, Pouni by 2-0 sets (25-14, 25-12), GCW Parade defeated GDC, Akhnoor by 2-0 sets (25-12, 25-14) and the third place was bagged by GDC Akhnoor by defeating GDC Pouni by 2-0 sets (25-17, 25-16).

Prof. Dipankar Sen Gupta, Director Poonch campus was the chief guest of the final match who awarded the winning trophy and medals to the players of GDC, Ramnagar and GCW Parade in the presence of Dr. Vimal Kishore, Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Vikram Jamwal. Dr Kamal Deep Singh, Dr. Vikesh Sharma, Irfan Goni and Vikas Karlopia.

The tournament was organized under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu

The matches were officiated by the technical panel of experts including: Mulkraj Sharma, Anil Sharma, Parvinder, Shubam Sharma, Manik Nargotra and Vikas Karlopia.
