Rahul’s selection in Divyang team is an inspiration for youngsters: Ranjeet Kalra

JAMMU: Member J&K Sports Council, Ranjeet Kalra said that the selection of Rahul Sharma in Indian Divyang T-20 team is an inspiration for youngsters of Jammu and Kashmir, here today.

It was stated by him during a function, organized by GS Sports Club to felicitate Rahul Sharma for his selection in the Indian T20 team against Sri Lanka, where JKCA Member and Member of Governing Council (Sports) SMVDU was the chief guest.

During the function, Sham Singh Langeh, chairman Divyang Cricket Association J&KUT was the guest of honor.

Earlier, Atul Sudan (President GS Sports Club) welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the cricketing achievements of Rahul Sharma. He said Rahul has earlier represented the Jammu & Kashmir Divyang Cricket team at National level where he impressed the selectors with his performance.

The chief guest said that Rahul being differently abled has set an example that anything can be achieved but one needs to be passionate and dedicated for his goal. He assured his full support for his further endeavours.

Anshu Sharma, Anirudh Raina and Ajeet Raj, vice captain J&K Divyang Cricket team Jammu were also present during the event.
