Female Patient airlifted from Keran; people applaud efforts

KUPWARA: Continuing its efforts to provide better possible facilities to the people living in hilly and far flung areas, the District Administration Kupwara in coordination with Army and other authorities airlifted one female Patient namely Sahana Khatoon from Keran to Zangli Kupwara. From Zangli, the patient was taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH), Kupwara in an ambulance which was kept available by the Hospital Administration.

The patient is safe now and receiving treatment at SDH, Kupwara.

The people of Kupwara district especially of Keran and other border areas expressed gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr.Doifode Sagar Dattatray for making shifting of patient possible from Keran to Kupwara.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner directed Superintendent, Sub District Hospital Kupwara to give special attention towards the patient and provide all possible support from the hospital.
