Jodhamal’s Teams Shine at F1 in Schools

JAMMU: Three teams from Jodhamal Public School participated in the recently held Formula One (F1) in Schools National Finals, held at Amity University in Delhi. The three teams were selected to participate at national level through the regional qualifiers.
The Three Teams are Marlin Racing, Presto Racing and Zebion Racing
F1 in Schools is an international STEM competition for school children, in which groups of 3-6 students have to design and manufacture a miniature car out of the official F1 Model Block.
All three teams showcased exceptional talent and skills throughout the National Finals. They participated in several categories and received appreciation and awards.
The team Marlin Racing members include Puneesh Singh Manhas, Adhwik Mahajan, Parmeet Singh, Aamay Gupta, Siddhi Vinayak, Akshar Bhasin.
Team Presto members include Pranjal Gupta, Arhaam Chopra, Amay Kawatra and Aprameya Gupta.
Team Zebion members: Dhairya Gupta, Pavit Singh, Daanial Butt, Aaryan Bakshi, Nishant Verma leveraged their talent under the guidance of Neetu johri.
After 3 days of model assessment across various technical domains, the national finals ended with an award ceremony where various awards were given to different teams.
Team Marlin Racing had the 3rd fastest car in the competition and was awarded with a trophy.
Team Zebion Racing was nominated for the ‘chair of judges award'. The Pit Display, Car Models and the Team presentation were appreciated by the Judges and organizers.
Jodhamal in collaboration with Time of sports has been sending teams to F1 in School competition for the last 5 years. Together they have been promoting the growth of STEM learning in the region.
Trustee of the school Nandan Kuthiala, Principal Dr. Deep Khare congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the teams. He also added that it's a life skill which is beyond books and curriculum learning by doing at a very advanced and scientific level.
Earlier in June 2022, in the F1 in Schools held at Silverstone, United Kingdom. Team Helios Racing of Jodhamal School had represented India and won the World Finals. In this competition 53 teams from 26 countries had participated.
