Football trials held for Minerva Academy

JAMMU: Minerva Football Academy and Batra Group hosted football trials for U-17 Minerva Football Academy in Birla Open Minds International School's Football Ground, Jammu.

The Event which started at 10 saw participation of 300 players. Tushar and Nazarate (coaches from Minerva Football Academy) took trials.

Wasim Aslam (Chairman JKFA) was the chief guest of the event. Speaking on the occasion, he said that sports must be a permanent feature in extra curriculum activities.

Arun Malhotra (Technical Committee Member, AIFF) initiated this plan for Jammu and he himself gave his presence at the event.

Bhisham Batra (Director, Batra Group) said, "Such initiatives will definitely improve the quality of football in Jammu.

Aparna Kohli (Principal, Birla Open Minds International School) was also present at the occasion.

All the Associated Clubs viz. Pegasus Hero FC, Param FC (Duggar Haveli) and Udhampur City FC volunteered service for the trials.
