Youth Basketball Championship concludes

JAMMU: J&K UT Youth Basketball Championship concluded at MA Stadium, wherein various teams of both boys and girls participated.

In the girls category, the championship title was won by MA Stadium -A, while MA Stadium-B stood first runner up and the team from Jodhamal remained 2nd runner-up, besides in boys, STC Warriors won the Gold, whereas Sainik School Nagrota won the Silver and Bronze was won by Point Guards Udhampur.

Rajinder Sharma, Mayor Jammu was the chief guest for the day. He congratulated all the participating teams and assured the teams that he would help in improving the infrastructure for Basketball.

Gurpreet Handa and Ashiq Bukhari were the guests of honour. Dr Vikram Handa, Principal Tiny Tots Hr Sec School, Ashok Singh Jamwal, former Manager J&K Bank were among the notable dignitaries who graced the event.

Harjinder Singh, Sushma Jamwal, Ranbir Singh, Shubham Sharma, Rohan Kundal and Kunal were among those who acted during the championship as coaches.
