Sports event for differently abled persons held in Doda

Winners, differently abled Teachers felicitated

DODA: To mark International Disability Day, Samagra Shiksha cell of CEO office Doda on Saturday held several sports competitions for the differently abled persons.

The contests were held at DIET Doda to lift the spirit of differently abled Students and teachers on International Disability Day.

The sports event was inaugurated by I/C Principal DIET, Purshotam Dass Gouria. Resource Teacher I.E Manisha Goswami, Kismat Singh (lect) Coordinator I.E & Mr Sohail Wani DRG DIET Doda coordinated the event.

On the occasion differently abled Teachers were also felicitated for their tireless contribution towards the department despite adversities they face while performing their duties.

Winners of different sports events like tug of war, Marathon, Singing, dancing and painting etc were felicitated after the successful culmination of the event.
