BOMIS hosted inter school football championship

JAMMU: Birla Open Minds International School hosted the Inter school FootBall championship season-1 in collaboration with Pegasus Hero Football Club in a grand manner to develop Harmony and Healthy sporting environment among different schools.

The second day of championship started with the welcome address by the students followed by enthralling musical & dance performances. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Anissa Nabi, State Taxes Officer.

The Principal of the school, Aparana Kohli welcomed the chief guest, the participant team, coaches & referee's. After the introduction of the teams by the Principal, who motivated & encouraged them to play fair, the Chief Guest also addressed the players and inspired them to show their talent in the true spirit of sportsmanship. She also inspired them to look at sports as a field of career.

The first match was played between GD Goneka School & KV Udhampur, where in KV Udhampur won the match.

The second match was played between Jammu Sanskriti & Birla Open Minds International School, where in Birla Open Minds International School won the match.

The first semi-final match was played between K.V Udhampur & APS Kaluchak where in APS Kaluchak won the match.

The second semi final match was played between IDPS & BOMIS Jammu where in BOMIS Jammu won the match in boys category.

In girls category the first match was played between G.D. Goneka School & APS Kaluchak School, where in G.D Goenka won the match and the second match was played between IDRS & BOMIS Jammu, wherein BOMIS Jammu won the match.

The day was a great experience in the life of Students. In short the Inter-School FootBall championship Day-2 was a grand success by the combined efforts of students, teachers, support staff & Pegasus Management.
