GDC for Women Anantnag organises Blood Donation Camp

ANANTNAG: The NCC unit of the Government Degree College (GDC) for Women Anantnag organised a blood donation camp within the Health Care Centre of the college premises.

All the NCC cadets along with the staff members were seen taking greater initiatives both as volunteers and donors.

The camp started with a short speech of the principal regarding this noble cause.

A group of 9 members comprising doctors, nurses, lab technicians were deputed by the Government Medical College Anantnag.

The donors were asked to fill a medical form to give details about their health-related information. It was followed by checking weight, pressure, and body temperature.

Those who donated blood were taken to the relaxation room for the rest of a few minutes and given certificates and refreshments.

24 cadets along with some faculty members donated the blood.
