Presentation of innovative ideas, poster making contest held at SCTM, GMGHSS Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: Department of Science and Technology JKSTIC Udhampur on Tuesday organised presentation of innovative ideas and Poster making Competition on the topic "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle" here in the premises of Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School, (SCTM GMGHSS), The students of the school participated with full enthusiasm.

Around 14 students participated in the presentation of innovative ideas. Tanvi Sharma, student of class 11th, bagged 1st position.

In the Poster making Competition, 19 students participated and Jagreet Kour from class 11th was declared as the winner.

Near about 100 students participated in the event and got benefitted.

Pawan Abrol (Lecturer Physics) and Rashi Gupta (Sr. Lecturer Chemistry) from Higher Secondary School Boys, Udhampur and Vandana (Sr. Lecturer Chemistry) from SCTM GMGHSS Udhampur acted as the judges of the event.

The event was held under the chairmanship of Principal SCTM GMGHSS Udhampur.

The competition was organized and Co-ordinated by Dr. Dalbir Kour ( Lecturer Physics) and other staff members (Science Department) of the school under the supervision of Shruti Khana, District Co-ordinator (Dept.of Science and Technolgy, JKSTIC Udhampur).
