Bhumika of MVIS grabs silver in World Speed-ball Championship

JAMMU: Student of MV International School Bhumika Gupta of Class 10 brought laurels to the school by winning five medals in World Speedball Championship that was held at Egypt, recently.

She is the only child from district Samba to be selected to represent India in this International championship. Teams from 35 countries participated in this event.

Bhumika won two silver medals in singles and mix doubles along with three bronze medals in solo, girls double & mix relay category.

Indian teams bagged overall 2nd position in this championship after Egypt.

School management and staff congratulated and appreciated Bhumika and her coach for adding international dimension to the school and motivated her to continue excelling in the same spirit.
