District Administration Kishtwar felicitates officers, Officials for smooth conduct of Shri Machail Mata Yatra-2022

KISHTWAR: District Administration Kishtwar today felicitated officers/officials of Civil and Police Administration besides others stakeholders for smooth conduct of this year's Shri Machail Mata Ji Yatra, here in a programme at the conference Hall,DC Office complex Mini Secretariat Kishtwar.

Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav- was chief guest at the felicitation event.

ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal, ADC Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma, ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, Account Officer, DC office Kishtwar Imran Ahmed Kichloo, Duty magistrates, Accountants, besides other functionaries of Mata Mata Yatra 2022 remained present on the occasion.

The event was conducted by Roopesh Sharma, who presented the welcomed address and gave a brief detail of facilities/arrangements put in place by different departments and stakeholders during the Yatra.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC Kishtwar expressed gratitude towards the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu , Romesh Kumar and former DC Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma, besides Nodal officer Machail Yatra-2022/ADDC Kishtwar Sham Lal for all the support and guidance, leading to successful Yatra.

Maintaining that Shri Machail Mata Yatra is one among the biggest spiritual festivals of UT, Deputy Commissioner observed that augmentation of road and mobile connectivity to the area will promote the Yatra, besides helping to tap the tourism potential of the area.

The DC also appreciated the officers of district and local administration, officials of Machail Mata Ji Cell, PRIs for their immense contribution in this year's Yatra.

The Deputy Commissioner presented appreciation certificates to all the Officers/Officials of Shri Machail Mata Ji Yatra-2022 in recognition of their selfless and extraordinary service.

The Nodal Officer Shree Machail Mata Yatra (ADDC Kishtwar) also thanked all the officers and officials of Civil, police, NDRF and Army, the people, civil society, religious & political leaders, medical staff, sanitation workers for their support and dedicated services during the pilgrimage .

The ADDC said that this year 59,000 pilgrims performed darshan at the Holy cave owing to efficient planning, immaculate implementation and seamless coordination between all the stakeholders, despite various challenges faced during the Yatra.

Lauding the officials for their hard work, the ADDC observed that the successful event is the result of team spirit, sacrifice and service by all the officers.

The management of cleanliness, water and security was also commendable throughout the pilgrimage period, he said.
