VC JU felicitates Research scholar of Department of Electronics

JAMMU: Prof. Umesh Rai, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu today felicitated a Research Scholar of the Department of Electronics, University of Jammu, who has been selected for the Prestigious Indo-German Industrial Fellowship, which is funded by the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre, a bilateral Institution of Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Government of Germany.

While congratulating Tara for his outstanding achievement, Prof Umesh Rai said, that it is a proud moment for both Ayush Tara and the University of Jammu.

It is heartening to see that scholars are undergoing intense research and University in its pursuit is committed to extend all the possible support so that scholars can undertake quality research.

It is pertinent to mention here that during this fellowship, Ayush Tara will undertake research on the fabrication and characterization of lead-free perovskite cells with emphasis on Zinc-oxy sulphide as an electron transport layer.

The whole work will be carried out at HySPRINT Innovation Lab, Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin for Materials and Energy, Berlin, Germany for a period of six months.

Ayush Tara is working for his PhD in the field of solution processable thin film solar cells under the supervision of Dr. Rockey Gupta, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics.

Prof Parveen Kumar Lehana, Head, Department of Electronics, University of Jammu was also present on the occasion.
