Heritage School celebrates Teachers Day

JAMMU: Enthusiasm and festivity marked the Teachers Day celebrations at Heritage School, as the students had put their heart and soul in making the day memorable for their revered teachers.

A wonderful cultural programme was meticulously planned and executed by the Student Council who left no stone unturned to make their teachers feel important and loved.

The celebrations began with the welcome address delivered by the Head Boy Hashir Mohammad and Head Girl Divyanshe which was followed by a cake cutting ceremony.

Highlights of the cultural programme were the exuberant dance and musical performances presented by the students. A variety of games like dumb charades , antakshri , passing the parcel were also planned to keep the teachers engaged and give them a fun filled day. Teachers were gifted with bamboo plants, a symbol of longevity and strength, by the student council.

In his address to the faculty the Principal, Akash Pradhan, appreciated the teachers for their commendable work with students throughout the year. He extended his gratitude to the students for putting up a wonderful programme and making the day most memorable and cherished.

Altogether it was a great and a wonderful event which culminated with a sumptuous lunch hosted in honour of the faculty.
