Intra-College Essay Writing Competition conducted at PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU: Department of English, Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government P.G. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, on Tuesday organised an Essay Writing Competition for the students of English Honours and English Literature on the topic "Post-Covid Impact on the Psyche of the Young Generation."

The programme was held under the patronage of the College Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan. She motivated the students to express their original ideas and experiences on the theme of the essay.

In all, 28 students participated and displayed their critical and creative ability on the topic of the competition.

Dr. Seema Arora, HOD English, convened the programme. She welcomed the students and the Principal of the College and apprised them about the guidelines of the competition. Faculty members of the Department of English, Prof. Bindu Sharma, Dr. Jyoti Dutt, Dr. Shakun Mahajan, Prof. Neelam Thapa, Dr. Chetna Mahajan, Dr. Kiran Kalra, Dr. Nidhi Choudhary and Prof. Suman Bala organised the event.

The competition was judged by Dr. Syed Shehna and Dr. Ujala Sharma of Department of Psychology.
