15 wrestlers selected for National Wrestling Championship

JAMMU: Wrestling Association of J&K selected 15 wrestlers and one official to represent J&K in the upcoming Under-23 senior boys freestyle, Graeco Roman style and women National Wrestling Championship, scheduled to be held at Kochi (Kerala) from September 1 to 4.

The team was selected after the screening conducted by the screening committee of the J&K Sports Council, headed by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh in presence of Jai Bharat, general secretary, Om Parkash treasurer of the Association and others.

Kulvinder Singh, Natter Singh, Harsh Dev Singh, Jarnail Singh, Gourav, Gulshan Chib, Madhan Singh, Goutam Singh, Aman Kumar and Vikram Singh will participate in freestyle event of the championship, while Avishek Lahoria and Kshitij Mansotra will fight for Greco Roman style and Upasana Singh, Muskan Singh and Kusam Rani has been selected for women Championship.
