Shooting Championship gets underway

JAMMU: 10th J&K UT Shooting Championship, being organized by J&K Rifle Association, got underway at General Zorawar Singh Shooting Range Bari Brahmana.

On 2nd day of the championship, 10 meters Rifle and Pistol competitions were organised wherein Subhashish (380/400) and Sagar Gupta (376/400) remained 1st and 2nd in 10 meters Rifle (men) event, whereas in 10 meters Rifle (women), the top two positions were bagged by Pragya Verma (384/400) and Priya Chib (378/400) and in 10 meter Pistol (men), Vishav Sharma (370/400) and Gurmeet Singh (362/400) stood 1st and 2nd besides in 10 meters Pistol (women), Kavya Kochar (358/400) and Shreya Charak (346/400) remained winner and runner-up.

The matches were conducted under the technical supervision of Rajesh Virdhy, Anu Sharma (ISSF Judge), Tarun Dev Singh Jamwal, Vishal Mehra and Shamsher Singh.
