One month long online training course concludes at PHQ Ladakh

IGP Ladakh thanked DG BPR&D

LEH: The one month long online course hosted by BPR&D for the officials of Ladakh Police concluded today at PHQ Agling.

During the one month course, 86 lectures were delivered which covered each and every aspect of IPC, CRPC and Indian Evidence Act with particular emphasis on the changed sections in reference to lodging of FIR, examination of Scene of Crime, recording of material statements, collection of evidence, compiling charge sheet and various other related subjects.

Moreover, the trainee officers had the opportunity to interact and learn from eminent speakers from various fields viz Judges, Advocates,Prosecuting Officers,Legal Advisors who shared their experiences clearing several doubts and confusions of the trainees officers.

Further, many speakers were linked from as far Madhya Pradesh, Noida, Ghaziabad and Jammu as well.

The Police Chief of Ladakh UT, Satish Khandare-IPS while expressing his contentment over the successful completion of the course, congratulated the trainee officers and exherted that they will utilise this learning in the field for a better and a more professional investigation and also percolate this learning to other field formations as well.

IGP also expressed his gratitude to DG BPR&D and CDTI Ghaziabad for this this course which has definitely updated the knowledge and professional skills of the trainee officers keeping in view the gained importance of Ladakh after formation of a separate UT.

Moreover, he also requested the DG BPR&D for their support to the newly established Ladakh Police in form of skill upgradation in Computer Forensics, Economic Offences,Soft Skills etc through the same medium.

Later, Certificate of Participation were also distributed among the trainee officers.

DIG Leh-Kargil Range B.S Tuti-IPS, AIG Personnel PHQ Stanzin Nurboo-JKPS, AIG Provisions PHQ Sonam Dechan-JKPS, SP Security Ladakh Gaurav Mahajan-JKPS (Course Nodal Officer), Staff Officer to IGP Ladakh Kameshwar Puri-JKPS, SP Traffic Ladakh Rafi Giri-JKPS besides other officers of the PHQ were also present on the concluding event.
