JK Public School Kunjwani organises webinar on cyber security

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani organized webinar on Cyber Security for senior students of the school.
The resource person of the webinar was Rakshit Tandon, Cyber Security Expert Consultant of Internet and Mobile Association of India.
The senior faculties of the school, computer education teachers and the senior students of class 12th attended the webinar. The webinar was specifically designed to provide right knowledge to the students on cyber security and to make them aware about the Do's and Don'ts as well as how to protect Digital Identity while working on internet.
Tandon said one should avoid disclosing personal information including photographs to strangers to ensure online safety.
The most important point of discussion was Cyber Crime and Social Networking. Students were made aware about the type of Cyber crimes which occur on social sites and about cyber security.
The Do's and Don'ts for Cyber security were also explained. Online games and their disadvantages for children were also detailed.
Rakshit Tandon is a Microsoft Certified Professional by Microsoft, A Certified Computer Forensics Expert from Brain bench USA and an Ethical Hacker, Certified by the EC Council. He has worked on various reputed assignments as Chairman NCSSS (National Outreach Program on Child Abuse with National Cyber Safety &Security Standard), Director Executive Council - The Council of Information Security and the Member Advisory Board National Cyber Safety & Security Standards (NCSSS).
The workshop was eye opening and students learned a lot.
