JSS Students excel in Qwan Ki Do championship

JAMMU: Sanskritians brought fame to the School procuring medals in national Qwan Ki Do championship (2019-20) organized by Qwan ki Do federation of India at Divisional Sports Complex, Sutgirni, Aurangabad. Fifteen states from all over India were participating in the event.
Sanskritians had a long list of accolades at various athletics events at national as well as international level. Keeping their perseverance, self confidence & respect for others in the ancestral spirit of martial art Sanskritians astounded everyone through their commendable performance winning array of medals U-14 and U 17 category. There were five contestants and all of them clinched medals.
Two gold medals were clinched by Vishal and Rajnish kumar under U-14 & U-17 category respectively, one silver medal was procured by Sonalika choudhary U-17 & two bronze medals were bagged by Abhirag bharti & Isha.
The winners were highly appreciated for their agility & strength by the group of judges present there.
It was a proud moment that the first runner – up trophy U-17 was bagged by J&K UT. Principal cum Vice chairperson, Rohini Aima admired the magnificent performance of the exultant youngsters & wished them success in their future endeavor. She also applauded Jagpreet kour, Martial arts coach for her dedication & passion towards the martial arts that reflect in the winners.
