POONCH: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) for the Mission YUVA initiative convened a meeting today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal in the conference hall of DC Office Poonch.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed review of the cases and directed all concerned officers to actively motivate and guide local youth to take advantage of various government livelihood and entrepreneurship schemes.
The committee thoroughly examined the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) submitted by the applicants.
After comprehensive discussions and evaluations, all 165 proposals were approved, enabling the sanctioned release of financial assistance to help these individuals set up sustainable income-generating units.
Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, aims to empower the youth by offering technical and financial support to build viable business ventures and strengthen the region's economy through youth-led development.
The District Administration Poonch reiterated its commitment to extend every possible assistance to the beneficiaries so that they can successfully implement their projects and contribute to the socio-economic development of the district.
