REASI: To enhance the capacity of field staff, District Election Office Reasi organised comprehensive training programmes for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) across the three Assembly Constituencies of the District.
The training sessions were held from July 15 to July 16 under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Nidhi Malik.
The training aimed to strengthen the preparedness of BLOs and ensure better implementation of electoral revision at the grassroots level.
The sessions were conducted at the constituency level and facilitated by Assembly Level Master Trainers and Booth Level Officers who had recently attended the National Level Training Programme held in New Delhi.
The training programmes were held in 56-Gulabgarh (ST) Assembly Constituency at Government Degree College, Sarh Bagga, 57-Reasi Assembly Constituency at Auditorium, DC Office, Reasi and 58-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Assembly Constituency at Government Higher Secondary School, Katra.
The participating officials showed keen interest in attending the training. It is pertinent to mention that updated knowledge of the Booth Level Officers will prove fruitful during the Summary Revisions of the Electoral Rolls, as and when announced by the Election authorities.
DEO Nidhi Malik emphasized the pivotal role of BLOs in ensuring free, fair and inclusive elections. She urged the officers to remain vigilant, well-informed, and proactive in discharging their duties and to maintain the highest standards of integrity and efficiency in their work. |
