VIJAYPUR: The month-long Dharti Abha Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit Saturation Campaign, launched on June 15- 2025, concluded today in Vijaypur with a mega valedictory event held in the Block Development Office.

The campaign was held under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner Rajesh Sharma and it primarily focused on village Rakh Barotian, an area with a substantial Scheduled Tribe (ST) population.

The month-long campaign witnessed participation of over 1500 ST community members, who availed various welfare services and participated in awareness activities.

All 17 line departments took part by setting up information and service stalls, providing on-the-spot registration and assistance under key government schemes. Departments of health, education, agriculture, social welfare, rural development, and others played pivotal roles in driving citizen-centric outreach.

One of the major highlights of the Abhiyan was the distribution of Biomass Cook Stoves to eligible households, promoting clean energy and eco-friendly cooking practices-especially benefiting tribal families by reducing indoor air pollution.

The campaign also facilitated direct benefit transfers, new enrolments in welfare schemes, and real-time grievance redressal, with a core focus on benefit saturation to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out.

At the valedictory function, officials from the Block Administration appreciated the active participation of villagers and commended the dedication of all departmental teams. The successful culmination of the Dharti Abha Abhiyan underscores the effectiveness of integrated outreach efforts in empowering under-served communities and advancing the vision of inclusive and sustainable development.
