KUPWARA: Principal District & Sessions Judge Kupwara and Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kupwara, Manjeet Singh Manhas chaired a review meeting of the SAATHI Campaign today at the Bar Conference Room of District Court Kupwara.

The meeting was attended Moneer Ahmad, Secretary / Sub-Judge, DLSA Kupwara; Chairpersons and Members of Tehsil SAATHI Units from across the district.

The purpose of the meeting was to assess the ongoing progress and impact of the SAATHI Campaign, which aims to promote legal awareness and community outreach through dedicated grassroots volunteers.

Key agenda points included Presentation of progress reports by each Tehsil SAATHI Unit, Review of field activities and outreach measures, Planning, distribution of Letters of Appreciation to ground-level workers and unit leaders for their contributions under the campaign, Submission of details of destitute children identified during the SAATHI Campaign, for further necessary action.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjeet Singh Manhas appreciated the commitment of the campaign workers and emphasized the vital role of SAATHI Units in bridging the gap between the community and the justice delivery system. He encouraged teams to continue their dedicated work with sincerity and compassion.

Secretary DLSA Kupwara, reiterated the importance of timely reporting and accurate documentation. He guided the unit heads to submit pending data and enhance coordination for effective field-level delivery.

The meeting concluded with a collective pledge to further strengthen the objectives of the SAATHI Campaign, ensuring that legal awareness reaches every doorstep in the district.
