UDHAMPUR: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aabha Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a comprehensive outreach programme was organized today at Tribal Village Dhar Ghaddian, Block Sewna, aimed at the holistic development and empowerment of the tribal community.

The event witnessed the participation of DDC member Subash Chander, BDO Sewna, CDPO Chenani, and other officials, along with a large number of local residents. PO Poshan and Nodal Officer for Tribal Affairs, Subhash Chander Dogra, graced the occasion and inspected departmental stalls showcasing the benefits of various flagship government schemes.

A sensitization-cum-grievance redressal session was also conducted, during which tribal residents projected demands seeking basic amenities, infrastructure, and access to welfare schemes. Several grievances were addressed on the spot by officials present.

A health camp was organized offering free medical check-ups and consultations, making a wide range of healthcare services accessible to the local population.

In addition, an enrolment drive was held for various flagship schemes including Aadhaar saturation, ration card issuance, Jan Dhan account opening, and enrolment under old-age pension, widow pension, Divyang pension, and PMMVY.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation, indicating rising awareness and community engagement with government welfare initiatives.
