RAJOURI: Jammu and Kashmir Bank's Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Rajouri successfully completed a batch of beauty parlour training, empowering 35 young women with vocational skills.
The training program, conducted under the Ministry of Rural Development's initiative, aimed to make rural women self-reliant by imparting skills in beautician services. The trainees, who hailed from Rajouri district, were provided with hands-on training in various aspects of beauty care.
Director of RSETI Rajouri, Suniel Sharma, highlighted the institute's role in promoting self-employment and enabling unemployed youth to become job creators. The trainees expressed gratitude to the Central government for launching such schemes and appreciated the guidance and support provided by RSETI.
Upon completion of the training, the women plan to start their own ventures or seek opportunities in the expanding beauty and wellness industry. This initiative is part of a broader government effort to empower rural youth, especially women, through free skill development and entrepreneurship training. |
