REASI: A capacity building training programme for field functionaries was organised by the District Election Office Reasi today at the DC Office Complex as the preparatory exercise for the special summary revision of electoral roll- 2025.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Booth Level Officers and Supervisors from all three Assembly Constituencies of the district. Participants joined the programme through both physically and through virtual mode, ensuring wide coverage and participation.

The session focused on crucial aspects of electoral roll management, including the conduct of House-to-House verification and the correct procedures for filling Forms related to Addition, Deletion, Correction and transposition of entries in the electoral rolls. A dedicated doubt-clearing session was also held to address queries raised by the participants.

The training programme was presided over by Deputy District Election Officer Rakesh Kumar, while the sessions were conducted by District Level Master Trainers, Dara Singh and Narinder Kishore.
