UDHAMPUR: A felicitation ceremony was organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Jakhed to honour the commendable performance of students and to appreciate the dedicated efforts of teachers, masters and lecturers for achieving a 100% pass result in the recently declared Board examinations.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dudu, Dr. Manmeet Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion. He lauded the invaluable contribution of the teaching staff in shaping the future of the students and emphasized their crucial role in building a developed and progressive nation.

While addressing the students, the SDM delivered an inspiring motivational speech, sharing his own experiences from student life. He encouraged the students to remain focused, work hard and prepare earnestly for competitive examinations to achieve success.

In observance of World Environment Day, the SDM also launched a plantation drive by planting a sapling within the school premises, urging everyone to contribute towards environmental conservation.
