GANDERBAL: To promote a drug-free society and raise awareness among the youth, a Mini Marathon was successfully conducted under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) by District Administration Ganderbal and Social Welfare Department Ganderbal in collaboration with District Youth Services and Sports Office Ganderbal.
The marathon which started from Mini secretariat Ganderbal and culminated at Govt College of Physical Education Ganderbal was flagged-off by Additional District Development commissioner Ganderbal, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from college students, NCC/NSS cadets, Youth volunteers and Officials from various departments.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC urged all the participants to uphold the values of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and act as ambassadors for a drug-free India.
Participants carried banners and raised slogans promoting a drug-free lifestyle. Awareness pamphlets and NMBA-branded materials were distributed along the route.
This initiative aims to engage the community in combating substance abuse and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. |
