KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today visited Altaf Memorial Government Degree College Kilam and Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Kilam to take firsthand assessment of their overall functioning.

During the visit, DC took stock of the existing infrastructure, academic environment, and staff availability.

He also conducted an interactive session with students at both the institutions to gain insights into their academic needs, challenges, and aspirations.

Emphasizing the importance of quality education, DC assured that all necessary measures would be taken to further strengthen the educational setup.

He urged the teaching staff to maintain high standards of education and work collectively for the holistic development of students.

He also urged students to make the best use of facilities, resources and time for a bright and successful future

On the occasion students also put forth several demands aimed at enhancing academic excellence and improving facilities at these institutions.

DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmad Giri; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Education Officer, Tehsildar and other concerned officers.
