RAMBAN: Amid elaborate arrangements by the District Administration under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, a batch of 33 Hajj pilgrims, including 11 females were today flagged off from Ramban to Srinagar for their onward journey to the Holy Pilgrimage.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shokat Hayat Mattoo congratulated the Hajj pilgrims for getting the opportunity to embark on the sacred journey. He extended his best wishes to pilgrims for a safe and secure pilgrimage and earnestly appealed to them to pray for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Tehsildar Deep Kumar, ARTO Kuldeep Singh, religious leaders and other officers, prominent citizens and relatives were also present on the occasion. |
