SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Samba Rajesh Sharma today chaired a high-level multi-departmental meeting to evaluate the impact of key governance initiatives and development schemes in the district.
The meeting extensively reviewed multiple critical areas including registration on the JK Samadhaan portal, e-office implementation status at block and tehsil level offices and the status of the developmental schemes across the departments.
A special presentation highlighted the district-wide implementation of the Jal Shakti Ministry's 'Catch the Rain' program, underscoring the importance of the government initiative for water conservation and management.
The DC emphasized the administration's commitment to good and effective governance, directing all officials to avoid unnecessary delays in public services delivery and ensure smooth execution of day-to-day departmental activities.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Champa Devi Thakur; Programme Officer ICDS Subhash Chandra; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and all district officers.
