UDHAMPUR: A virtual meeting was held today at the Conference Hall of the District Court Complex Udhampur to discuss preparations for the upcoming National Lok Adalat scheduled on May 10, 2025.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the banks and insurance companies operating in Udhampur and their respective advocates.

The meeting was chaired by Principal District and Sessions Judge (Chairman DLSA) Virinder Singh Bhou, along with Addl. District and Sessions Judge Kamlesh Pandit. The primary objective of the meeting was to review pending cases and discuss strategies for efficient case management and settlement of disputes through the Lok Adalat.

By promoting amicable resolution, the meeting aimed to reduce court backlogs and provide relief to litigants.
