SHOPIAN: On the directions of the Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir Shah, a series of impactful medical camps were successfully organized today to cater to the healthcare needs of the community at Shopian.

A free medical camp was held at Keller, Shopian during which free consultations and medicines were provided to the beneficiaries, besides health awareness was raised among the residents, focusing on accessible and preventive healthcare.

A medical camp cum Anemia screening was held at AHWC Turkwangam, Chitragam under anemia screening initiative. The program aimed at early detection and management of anemia, particularly among women and children, along with necessary treatment and counseling.

Besides, a school health check-up camp was conducted at Govt Primary School, Rukpora, Kaprin. The camp included general health assessments for students and awareness on hygiene, nutrition and personal care.
