BANDIPORA: In order to accelerate the relief distribution process, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl, today chaired a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Committee, here.

The meeting discussed the evaluation of pending relief cases and ensuring timely support to eligible beneficiaries.

A total of five cases were presented out of which four cases were approved for payment, while one was found ineligible as per norms.

On the occasion, ADC highlighted the importance of swift relief distribution to mitigate the hardships faced by affected individuals. He instructed the concerned departments to streamline procedural workflows and ensure that genuine beneficiaries receive assistance without unnecessary delay.

The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Bandipora, District Treasury Officer, Assistant Executive Engineers from R&B Sumbal and Bandipora and representatives from other concerned departments.
