UDHAMPUR: An awareness -cum- sensitization session for Krishi Udyamis of the KKG was today organised by the Agriculture and Allied Departments here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

The session was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh and witnessed the active participation of officers from allied departments.

During the session, Krishi Udyamis were sensitized about the key features and benefits of the Kisan Sathi and Daksh Kisan Portals. The officials highlighted the importance of these digital platforms in streamlining agricultural support services and improving farmer outreach.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC emphasized the need for widespread awareness and active involvement of Krishi Udyamis in mobilizing farmers to register on the Kisan Sathi Portal and on the Daksh Kisan Portal to equip farmers with updated skill sets and technical knowledge for modern farming practices.

The participants were directed to ensure maximum enrolment of farmers under both portals to ensure effective implementation of schemes and to promote sustainable agriculture in the district.
