UDHAMPUR: The week-long campaign under "SVaNidhi se Samriddhi and Main Bhi Digital" conducted by the Udhampur Municipal Council successfully concluded here today.

The campaign was aimed at empowering eligible beneficiaries of flagship schemes through financial inclusion, digital literacy and comprehensive outreach.

As part of the campaign, a robust door-to-door outreach drive was carried out by field teams to spread awareness, facilitate enrolment and link the beneficiaries to various government schemes.

The campaign received an overwhelming response from the people who evinced keen interest in availing the benefits of these welfare schemes.

Special emphasis was laid on promoting digital transactions and equipping people with the knowledge and tools to operate digitally.

Chief Executive Officer MC, Rajinder Digra appreciated the efforts of the field staff and encouraged the beneficiaries to make full use of the opportunities being provided under the mission. He reiterated the commitment of the Urban Local Body to continue such outreach initiatives to ensure inclusive growth and self-reliance.
