Agencies4/10/2025

POONCH: In a bid to ease tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian and Pakistani army officials are scheduled to hold a flag meeting today in the Chakan Da Bagh area of Poonch.

The meeting is being held following requests from the Pakistani side.

Army officials have confirmed that the meeting will be held today and will focus on infiltration attempts by Pakistani troops, planting of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), and installing surveillance cameras within Indian territory.

During the flag meeting, the Indian side is expected to raise strong objections to these acts of "aggression," which disrupt peace along the LoC, and reiterate the need for upholding the ceasefire agreement reached between the two countries in 2021.
