KATRA: Continuing the drive against drug abuse and illicit liquor launched by District Police Reasi. Reasi Police recovered illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger involved in smuggling of illicit liquor.

Police party of Police Station Katra, during checking and frisking apprehended one person namely Jatinder Rai S/O Chandeshwar Rai R/O village Godhna Mathia District Chhapra, State Bihar A/P near Asia Chowk Katra and during search Police recovered 38 Quarters of JK Special whiskey 250/250 ml each from his possession.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 77/2025 U/S 48(a) Ex. Act & 223 BNS has been registered at P/S Katra and an investigation has been initiated to uncover both forward and backward linkages.
