KUPWARA: Tehsil Administration Handwara in collaboration with Floriculture department today organized a plantation drive at Children Park Handwara.

The Plantation drive was held under the theme of ‘Saving Chinar Trees.'

The drive was kick-started by Tehsildar Handwara by planting Chinar saplings. He appealed the people to plant more and more trees in their surroundings for a healthy and clean environment

It was informed that the Plantation drive was carried out in the entire valley and a set target of 7000 chinar saplings had to be achieved.
