SAMBA: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Rajesh Sharma, today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of works undertaken under the District Capex Budget across various sectors.

The meeting focused on evaluating the status of ongoing projects being executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) for key departments, including School Education, Health and allied sectors. A detailed discussion was held on the challenges faced during project execution, with a strong emphasis on resolving bottlenecks to ensure the smooth and timely completion of works.

While reviewing sector-wise progress, the DDC underscored the importance of strict adherence to timelines and maintaining the highest standards in project implementation. He directed the concerned officers to proactively address any impediments and expedite the execution process to maximize developmental benefits for the public.

The DDC further stressed the need for efficient resource utilization and interdepartmental coordination to accelerate developmental initiatives across the district. He urged all stakeholders to remain committed to delivering quality infrastructure and public services within stipulated deadlines.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Champa Devi, Chief Planning Officer Kasturi Lal, Assistant Commissioner Development, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers, BDOs and other district officers.
