KUPWARA: A firefight has started between terrorists and the security forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nangmarg area of north Kashmir's Kupwara, reports said Tuesday.

Officials said, an operation was launched by 28 RR of Indian army, however, terrorists managed to escape from there. Following this, the official said, now 26 Asam of Indian army initiated the operation from the Bandipora side in north Kashmir.

The latest reports suggest, security forces are conducting the operation on both sides, that is from Kupwara and as well as from the forests of Bandipora.
