Promote Voter Awareness under the theme "Mera Vote Desh Ke Liye" and "Vote for Sure"

JAMMU: As part of the initiative to promote voter awareness and encourage participation in the upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir, a poster-making activity was organized at the Central University of Jammu under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain.

This event was successfully organised by the Dean of Students Welfare (DSW), Prof. Ritu Bakshi and coordinated by Dr.Anuradha Choudhary, Assistant Professor, Department of National Security Studies, and Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Comparative Religion and Civilization.

The theme of the event, "Mera Vote Desh Ke Liye" and "Vote for Sure", aimed to highlight the importance of every vote in shaping the future of the nation. The event took place on the 11th and 12th September at the Department of National Security Studies, Central University of Jammu.

A total of twenty-one enthusiastic students from the university participated, showcasing their creativity and dedication to the cause of voter awareness through poster-making and slogan writing.

The posters created during this activity were a testament to the student's creativity and their commitment to raising awareness about the importance of voting. The posters were visually appealing, each reflecting a deep sense of responsibility towards the democratic process.

This initiative was part of broader efforts to remind the community of their crucial role in the democratic process.

At the end of the event, the organisers extended their heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their contributions and encouraged everyone to actively take part in the voting process.
