PM releases 17th installment of PM-KISAN Scheme

Live streaming held across Jammu division

JAMMU: Department of Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare, Jammu, organized a programme regarding Live Streaming of release of 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Grand Kissan Sammelan at Varanasi (U.P).

Function of PM Kisan Utsav Diwas was organised at Baba Jitto, Kissan Kendra, Talab Tillo in which more than 150 farmers of Jammu division participated.

DDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion the DDC Chairman in his address appealed farmers to adopt farming as full time profession with technical support of Agriculture department.

In Ramban, this landmark event was organized at the office of the Chief Agriculture Officer.

The event was graced by the presence of prominent citizens, esteemed officials, and a considerable number of farmers from the district.

The attendees were charged with enthusiasm as they watched the Prime Minister's address and the formal release of funds.

In Doda, the event was webcast live, and a webinar program was organized at the Chief Agriculture Office complex in Doda.

More than 40 farmers attended the live event at the Doda complex. The program was graced by the presence of Chief Agriculture Officer Doda, Anil Kumar Gupta, and District Agriculture Officer (Extension) Doda.

In Udhampur, a mega event was organised at Conference Hall, CAO Office Complex Udhampur.

At district level the proceedings of the event was chaired by Sanjay Anand, Chief Agriculture Officer Udhampur; PRIs members and more than 50 farmers were invited to observe /celebrate the occasion.

Besides this, the live outreach programme was also viewed at all locations with maximum farmers' participation at all their respective panchayats.

Similar programmes were organized at all other district and sub division headquarters.
