LEH: Secretary of the Tourism & Culture Department, UT Ladakh; Vikram Singh Malik, chaired a meeting with the officers of Tourism & Culture Department at UT Secretariat, Leh.

During the course of the meeting, various matters such as operation and maintenance of tourism assets, formulation of tourism policy and adventure tourism guidelines for the UT of Ladakh, status of progress on tourism infrastructure projects under Swadesh Darshan 1.0 & Swadesh Darshan 2.0, and other ongoing projects were discussed in detail.

The Secretary also took stock of the status of heritage development projects, as well as the pending projects with the UT of J&K. He also enquired from the officers about the status of progress of the Sound & Light Show at Leh Palace and Multimedia Laser & Water Show at Kargil by the ITDC.

The meeting was attended by Director Tourism, Kunzes Angmo JKAS; Deputy Secretary, Ladakh Cultural Academy, Leh, Tsewang Paljor; Assistant Director Tourism Leh, Faisal Iqbal Tantray; Under Secretary/OSD Tourism & Culture Department, Muhammad Ali Tak, and other concerned officials.
