Amit Sharma conducts Comprehensive Review of Ladakh State Data Centre and Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters Implementation

LEH: The Administrative Secretary of Information Technology, UT Ladakh, Amit Sharma conducted a series of meetings on Ladakh State Data Centre and Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters and undertook a thorough review of the progress of the ongoing works aimed at ensuring the seamless development of the Ladakh State Data Centre, at his official Chamber, Civil Secretariat, Leh.

The meeting led by IT Secretary Amit Sharma covered critical aspects such as the installation of CCTVs, fire extinguishers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Diesel Generator (DG) set, electricity connections, earthing, and other essential components of the Ladakh State Data Centre, and the progress and development of the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Hub Clusters.

Emphasizing the paramount importance of adhering to timelines, Secretary Amit Sharma underscored the urgency for the timely completion of the Ladakh State Data Centre. He articulated the significance of the project in bolstering the technological infrastructure of the region and its pivotal role in advancing the digital landscape of Ladakh.

During the review meeting, Amit Sharma highlighted the significance of maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring that all components are by the specified technical requirements.

Amit Sharma further reiterated the Administration's commitment to providing state-of-the-art technological facilities to empower Ladakh's growth and development.

The comprehensive inspection and evaluation reaffirmed the UT Administration's dedication to ensuring the successful implementation of the Ladakh State Data Centre, aligning with the vision of a digitally empowered and resilient Union Territory.

Stanzin Dawa of Information Technology, delivered an in-depth presentation, explaining various facets of the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters.

The comprehensive presentation covered critical aspects, including land identification, project implementing agency, project management agency, project review committee, and governing council.

The meeting served as a platform for extensive discussions and evaluations of the ongoing projects. The collaborative spirit showcased during the session underscored the commitment of the UT Ladakh Information Technology office towards fostering innovation, economic growth, and technological advancements in the region.

Amit Sharma commended the dedication and hard work of the team involved in the implementation of the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Hub Clusters.

The meetings were attended by the Executive Engineer (Electricity) CPWD and concerned officers of the Information Technology Department, while other CPWD officers and Vendors joined the meeting virtually.
