The VBSY organised two events at the Government High Schools of Gram Panchayat Sungal Upper and Bandral Khurd, where various government departments showcased their schemes and services to benefit the general public.

The events began with a video message of the PM, in which he appealed to the people to take a pledge to work for the progress and prosperity of the country. The people present at the events took the Sankalp, pledge, and expressed their commitment to the cause.

The events also featured promotional stalls set up by the Health Department, Agriculture Department, Self Help Groups, Education and other departments.

The officers present at the stalls explained the various flagship schemes like the PM Vishwakarma scheme, PM Ujjwala scheme, JJM, etc. and provided online services to the beneficiaries. Notably, the PM Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries received LPG connections on the spot.

The events also prioritised providing health benefits to the public, with health checkups including blood pressure, sugar tests and more, conducted on-site. Over 800-900 individuals visited the stalls, seeking information and availing themselves of the benefits offered by the government.

School children also presented cultural presentations to share joy and boost enthusiasm of the public at the events. They performed songs, dances and skits on various themes and received felicitation from the DDC Akhnoor Sharda Bhau.
